....My only gripe with the Alecto is the grip, as an ambidextrous grip for me would have been much better, but that’s probably because I’m a lefty.
It's the only pistol I have ever considered for (short range) pest control, because of it's repeatable accuracy.

They do do LH grips for these, if you can find one.

I have a mk1, no threaded barrel. I sourced a new barrel (for a zoraki hp-01) from a french website, brought a half inch adapter (solway) and a silencer from Air-Fective Tuning, not the biggest but doesn't look stupid.

I think they are noisy without a silencer, no pronounced "bark".

I can hardly hit anything at 10M, eyesight and age not on my side.

I bought the TR Robb threaded barrel for my Mk1. You're right about the bark, it does have quite a crack, especially on three pumps. With a silencer on though they are spookily quiet. Put a Pax moderator on mine, quite large for a pistol but very light so it doesn't ruin the balance.

I have one in .177 with a swift moderator, great pistol in my opinion, no co2 to worry about, love the different power levels through pumping, very accurate, great anatomalogical grip and recoiless...
