    What length of indoor range

I've been looking around at the indoor ranges, and it seems like some people are making it work with relatively short ranges (e.g 25 yards)
My question is: if you were to travel to an indoor range, what maximum range would you realistically be happy with?

Certainly no less than 25/30 yards if it's sporting/plinking.

I don't know of any indoor ranges that long.
Atherton goes up to 75 yards but I thought that was the longest

I'd be happy with 50 but, I'd like more.

    All of the above.

Fifty is fine for me. You're just greedy.

To make it anything but a fun passing the time thing, it has to be a minimum of 30yds, preferrably 35yds.
At that range it starts to be meaningful. However for a bit of fun, anything up to 35 even lower.
Competition wise, 50yds, although very few are out there indoors, most are out side. eg Emmett and Stone.

it can be 5-10 yards. a pellet trajectory site will show how a pellet travels and its curvature. (i.e. more than one impact point)
    rimfire .22 i preferred 25 yards.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

    Yes please.
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

Be nice to be able to shoot upto 70 yards, maybe a bit more.

At the moment I can just scrape 50 yards in the grain store up the farm when completely empty of grain. Be another three months before the final 800 odd tons of wheat & barley be gone.

We have 33 yards indoor for air sub 12 which is fine. For that fact, the majority of my sub 12 air rifles are zeroed at that distance although I have two .22 Fenmans and two older BSA springers zeroed at 25.
    50 would be ideal.

My local has a 10 yard and a 20 yard range. I tend to use it for pistols, and for open sighted vintage springers; perfect ranges for those.
    It also cleared for FAC
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
