    Bugger, lost my bluing gel

Went to do a little touch up on a barrel, but only to find I have lost my little tub of bluing gel. Could someone please recommend one ? I have no idea what make mine was, as it was just a little bit someone had given me a year or two ago.

You want to touch up some dodgy bits on your blue barrel? Have you tried Tea Tree oil?

If it was a little clear pot with a black lid then it was Philips Gun Blue touch up gel.
I cant recommend any since I've only had bad results with cold blue.

If I can find my little pot you can have a bit in April on a completely different note, if your totally re-thinking your airgun line up does this mean that you will be selling your viper?

The philips gun blue is a blue gel .Not sure if any other the others are a blue colour . Its philips i have always used . My last tub went hard . Not sure if i did not put the lid on tight enough .

Tried to get it back to a gel state with a little acetone and ended up with a pot of rust

G96 is blue too, if it dries out it can be revived with a few drops of water.
