There’s been a couple of signal failures at some very key junctions (Baker St and Queens Pk), not my fault personally of course but I feel Corporate guilt.

Now then fellas, I'm getting well in the mood for the April Bash after my first visit this year to my local(ish) range at Mendip Shooting Ground.
I thought I should start to get my money's worth out of the Airgun Section Club membership, gifted by my lovely inlaws as my 60th birthday present. The idea for the membership was even put forward by the current Mrs Clogger!

Happiness has been 4 hours on the indoor range with time evenly divided between my AA TX200HC .177, S400 Classic .177, TX200SR .177 and my latest joy, a Feinwerkbau 600 SSP mounted with a nice scope rather than the diopter!!!
At 25mtr the FWB was putting 4.5mm pellets through an 8mm bell target hole with great regularity, although the 6mm hole was a little more challenging Very impressed with the rifle, especially with only no more than 5.5 ft.lbs on tap using AA Diabolo Express 4.52's. Might just give her another outing at the Bash ld grin:

Very nice those FWB 600 series rifles, Alistair... but as I found out with my old match rifle scoped up: At 6-ish FPE, the pellets swing a heck of a lot in a crosswind.

So that tends to limit the effective range when shooting from the bench. But at least with a scope you can watch the shots go - move with the wind - land.

Very nice those FWB 600 series rifles, Alistair... but as I found out with my old match rifle scoped up: At 6-ish FPE, the pellets swing a heck of a lot in a crosswind.

So that tends to limit the effective range when shooting from the bench. But at least with a scope you can watch the shots go - move with the wind - land.

I looked at the 70 with temptation on my mind but I fell to temptation twice yesterday with two scopes
