I've just picked up my HW97 KT synthetic from CH Weston . It shoots surprisingly sweet out of the box with pretty minimal twang. Great fun but now requiring another gun cabinet . I blame this forum and you guys for my expanding collection

    Hello Mike
I got one for my son years ago ,I found the trigger to be very heavy, about 8-9 lbs in weight and non adjustable. It spoilt an otherwise lovely little rifle.my son soon grew to big for it at 12 years old.
    Try before you buy mate.

I'm with Les. The 30 isn't a true junior gun, but it is a real HW. That would be my choice.

Yep - some would say the HW30S is only a little bit bigger, but a heck of a lot better... but don't let me put you off, Mike.

I had a shoot with that HW30 of Mel's at the last bash. It's a lovely gun!
