Ahem ... Gentlemen. Dragging this thread kicking and screaming back to shooting (), will there be any paper target holders / frames / plates please, as I am bringing two recently re-scoped rifles which I will want to zero @ 35 yards (my std default zeroing range), so would like to put my paper targets out at that distance. Am hoping there will be provisions for me to do this?

Panic Ye Not old chap. There's a large metal plate for attaching paper targets to for zeroing up. I've just bought a box of 100 to bring with me along with a roll of duck tape!!!

What a difference a day makes, whatever happened?

Just for the record and to help re assure anyone considering coming who hasn't been before. There is no raping at the bash, absolutely none. Well, only a bit and that's between consenting individuals, apparently the safe word is "rapewhistle". NewPaul isn't awake long enough to rape anyone, bongo isn't tall enough, moletrapper spends most of his time in the dyke looking for something he lost at the last bash, tinners doesn't stop talking for long enough and Trumpetier is so loud you can hear him coming from miles away. The rest of us are perfectly normal, apart from raymond obviously.

The oddfellows is a fine pub, we like it a lot and George needs a good walk of an evening so kills two birds. Good pub food and the locals are very welcoming. I likes the faggots. The only issue is coming back and finding out what some silly twit may have done to your tent \ pleasure dome they call zanadu.

There are zeroing targets, but you need to get on them early in the morning, by elevenses, it looks like they've been used for shot pattern testing.

Went out to the shed this morning to find my tent for the bash, I had already sorted out my thermal PJ's and Artic sleeping bag, then I remembered being a soft southerner I have a room waiting at Prestons Vale, shame really I would have enjoyed sleeping in the foot well of my car trying to get dry
