Yea Mark! I remember that bit of TV satire well, it really hit the spot. Can't remember the show or who it was aimed at though.

    Important Note !

OK folks, I'm presently on BBQ cleaning duty, but after looking at Quigley Hollow today I thought I'd better inform you that the campsite is very very wet at present --- two clear days without rain and it'll be fine.

I have a tractor on standby to get folks on and off if needs be but make sure you have your removable towing eyes handy.

    All the best Mick

I'm constantly watching the weather forecast, Pete.

If it comes dry on Thursday and Friday as predicted we should be OK, if not I'll sort something else out.

But whatever happens the Bash is on.

Hi Mick. Will it be possible to park on higher ground near the road/better drained area, yet still be within striking distance of the shooting area for security etc (eg: still be able to keep the car in sight, as that will be where the spare guns will stored between outings), please ???

There is only a very limited amount of high ground to the right of the entrance, Gareth, but it would be a bit of a trek to the range.
Alternatively I could get a few cars in the farmyard or on my lawn if needs be --- I'll make a decision on Friday morning.

We can always use my T20 and a trailer for a shuttle service if we have to.

Yup, I'm kipping in mine! Our airbed got slashed at the last bash, so I doubt it'd float now.
