Thread: Bought a new hard case, any need to put anything on the rifle?

    Bought a new hard case, any need to put anything on the rifle?

    The case has a zerust disc in there to stop corrosion, but do you think i should treat the rifle with anything? if so with what ?

    a regular wipe down with an oily rag should be enough,usually done after a shooting session.

    If it's got really wet, take the stock off, and make sure you dry and oil carefully before you put it back in the case, even with the zerust thingy.
