HW silencer

Can they be made any quieter ...

reason I ask is I have 2 , one seems quieter than the other , strange

The VC and the HW have similar internals but the VC has plastic baffle washers and in a old article in airgun shooter the VC was quieter using a Sound Level Meter, so perhaps one of yours has plastic baffles

Doesn't the VC have caliber specific end plugs to restrict the outward flow of air? I have no idea if they are any quieter than an HW but when I put the HW on my R10 Mkii all I hear is the action and a puff of air coming out of the barrel. Any quieter and I might have to really check to see if the gun had fired.

Yes .177-.25
The only way you can say that one silencer is quiter than another is by using a Sound Level Meter because individuals hear sounds different

not much inside at all really , baffles on both HW mods are like plastic hair curlers , with little bit of felt.
is that it ???
maybe more felt might help
