Are Hw's in .20 special order only ?

I fancy a Hw95 in .20 calibre, but looking around the net for prices it seems that only .177 and .22 are on offer. Would a .20 be special order? How long would it take to get one ?

If you wanted a HC rifle I was told they have a 6 week cycle for deliveries from Germany.

So depending on when in this cycle you order is when you get it.

This was quite a few years ago so may be different now.

Or you didnt want a HC rifle just get one direct from Germany maybe take a few days.

Yeah order direct from Germany. Even having to buy an export spring to go with it you'll save money.

many weeks ago i ordered a hw95 in .20. i was told it was a special order and expect a wait of up to 12 weeks. it must be getting up to that now and still no sign. there is also a charge of, i think i am paying an extra £50 which i think is a friggin liberty. also ordered a 98 shrouded barrel in .177 in case the dreaded muzzle flip rears its head.

It depends.

I ordered a 97 in .20 - tooks months and months to arrive. Think it was 6 in the end.

A year or so back I ordered a .20 80 and it arrived in a week because HC had one in stock.

Have you got a link to the company ? Not fussed about Hull Cartridge so Germany could be the way to go. Did you have any problems at all, or was it straightforward ?

Some years ago I had Chambers import one for me, HW95 .20. This was before the rash of european websites available with an English reading option. Waited about a month, and that was that.

They need a scan or photo of your passport IIRC.

But only once as they keep it on file.

That presents a bit of a problem, I haven't got one

No straight to your house if coming from Europe.
