Get a Stumpy or the baby one from A&M. The difference between the sounds these produce is negligible compared to the action. That is the main noise that can only be reduced by using tuned parts to some extent. I have all the ususal moderators for my rifles and choose to use a short one for my HC because of balance issues. You really do not want a too front heavy gun although it has its benefits for bench rest shooting.Originally Posted by Twearly
