HW35E safety catch spring

As title, I have lost my safety catch spring for my HW35 E, Knibbs price seems a bit excessive for what it is plus postage, can anybody tell me what size and strength it is, there is a very good ironmongery shop near me which i'm sure would have one.

I don't have one out of a gun to measure at present, Mel, but I'm sure that, in time honoured ultra-friendly BBS fashion, someone will be along soon with those measurements.

Although I have never had to try it, a spring from a biro will do the trick, but they will, no doubt, come in different sizes.

The biro spring did the trick for me when mine jettisoned across the garage never to be seen again.

Aaah - the famous disappearing HW safety catch spring. A small spring similar in size to a Biro spring, as suggested should suffice.
