Scammer Alert

Just been scammed by a nice piece of work on a scope purchase. School boy error in paying by bacs as I was told 'I'm too old for all this paypal stuff' Not off of this forum I would hasten to add.

Promised to send tracking number and then all went silent. Reported it to my bank and on line fraud police authority, but don't hold out much hope of seeing the money again.

Mansfield Woodhouse-Mansfield is where they live,if indeed the address and names I forwarded to the police are correct.

1st time in all my years that I have been caught, it's not a nice feeling.

The site have closed the account. Which will at least stop them for the moment.

i always get into long technical conversation with them before paying to try and determine if they scammers. also try asking about collection etc and see how they respond....not fool proof but helps weed out most scammers

Always handy to screenshot everything you buy or suspect.

Only once I got scammed and that was on for £280, got the money back after going through the resolution centre.

My sympathies mate I’m going through the same thing over a scope. My fault the rip off alarm was going off in my head but for some reason I still fell for it never again will I use free adds for bugger all.
