    Increasing power

    Hi all
Was just wondering if the sig sauer p226 is able to have it’s power increased to make be
4ft/lbs to give it a bit more range.
Any air gun tuners know if this is possible.
    Thank you

Very unlikely. If you disabled the recoil function you could maybe get a little more out of it, but It wouldn't be worth it. It's best to just accept the lower powered multishot pellet pistols for what they are - low powered plinkers.
    Good deals with these members

...Is the right answer Even the non-blowbacks like the Umarex range do at best about 2.5 on a good day. If you want that level of power (for whatever reason ), you will be better off getting a decent single shot CO2. A Crosman Mk1 is a good starter

I have one of these cheap as chips ( or they were till a couple of years ago ) Chinese CP1 pistols. It makes just under 5 ft.lbs on a reasonably warm day and a fresh capsul of the CO2. It is a pretty accurate pistol too up to 20 yards.
