This is a tumbler I made from scrap bits around my workshop. The motor and gearbox is an old cordless drill, the rollers are bits of vacuum cleaner pipe wrapped in leather. The drum is one of those superman body builder protein containers with some plastic fence inside to make sure the contents rotate and tumble. I put a connecting pulley joining the two rollers but it works fine without that on. The 12 volt dc power supply is from my pile of old phone chargers, adapters etc that I can’t throw out. I made the spigots out of bits out of an old dead printer. In fact the only thing I paid for was the stainless tumbling needles from the bay.

It has variable speed (yellow knob) and is reversable as per the drill.

I've made some smaller drums out of 4" waste pipe but the big drum seems to work fine with three or four hundred .38 cases. I empty it into an old kitchen sieve then pick them out one by one and shake out any stray pins. I've managed to break a decapping pin by missing a piece.

So a very effective wet media case cleaner for the grand price of nothing.

I've been using a Thumler tumbler for a few years now and think its great.

    I'm using the following

5ml Ecover washing up liquid (lemon if that makes any difference)
    5ml Ecover dishwasher rinse aid
1/3 of an Ecover dishwasher tablet

All easily obtained from your local major supermarket

    Sea clean from CPC.

I just fish the cases out and chuck them into a paint kettle under a tap of hot running water. Take a handfull of cases at a time, shake the water out and ling them on a towel then roll them on the towel to blott any water off and leave to dry.

    Simple, not that difficult.

Good mix but you only need one tiny drop of the finisher to treat a whole dishwasher full.

The washing up liquid and the rinse aid act as a detergent and a softener. The dishwasher tab does the same thing as the other two, you can save by not buying the tabs anymore.
Good deals with: Muskett, Dreben, roger.kerry, TALL, Helidave1, Chelseablue, Leeroy7031, Mousemann, pnuk, Practical, NEWFI, HOOGS, Webb22, lazybones1416 and deanw5262 among others. Thanks Guys.
