American BB gun studio cabinet cards

There is a sub collection in the US of cabinet cards showing boys (and girls) with their BB guns. The timeframe was at the turn of the century when BB guns were at their zenith in popularity in the US. This is an example now up on the bay in the US. It's priced high, imo. But, for me, I all but never purchase these cards anymore since it is much too easy to make respectable looking counterfeits and I just got burnt too many times.

This card is certainly worth taking a look at, since the airgun itself is so rare. And, I love the dog.

Hi Dean. many thanks for posting the cabinet photo. l have not seen such an early photo as this for a BB gun. l have a few original cabinet photos of BB guns, which are all part of our airgun history.
