Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series 2017/18 – Round Two Results – 04.02.18

Well done and very many thanks to everybody who turned out for the second round of the Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series today at Horsham. We tried to set a somewhat easier course following feedback from the first round. I am pleased to say that, whilst people found the course quite challenging, feedback was very positive. Despite the cold, most appeared to have a good day. Varying wind speeds (and wind directions) certainly didn't help, but the the rain (or was it snow) held off and, by the end of the morning, it turned out to be a very pleasant day.

Don't forget that further rounds will be held on:-

Round 3 - Sunday 4th March 2018 (as previously notified but not now the final round)
Round 4 - Sunday 25th March 2018 - now the final round followed by prize-giving.

I have prepared a spreadsheet of results so far, which can be found at http://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/003ef4...ade128df15.pdf

Please find below, the results published in the usual format. Any errors are mine alone. If you would be kind enough to ‘ping me’ a note, I will make any necessary corrections.

See you all at round three, if not before.

    Very best wishes,

    Phil

Thanks to Phil and fellow Hawkies, had a great morning on the tricky course.
Thanks to Kev for company and giggles, just glad he had enough pellets left after his monster plinking session
    My favorite series.

    Marvellous morning

Massive thanks to Phil and his merry men it was clear a massive amount of effort went into setting all of that up, where would HFT be without the doers.

    102% Phil...wowser...

    Excellent catering, so professional.

Fiendish course, epic shooting Justin, well done mate.

Had a pair of my favourite flavour doughnuts, twig and wind...mmmmmmm

Howard it was a pleasure, you did well putting up with my inane chatter, I took in some of your way of things need to give them a go.

Gary, you were not joking about the rugby, 41 phases making 20m and a doozy of drop - wow.

Thanks to the Hawkies for a good course today. Enjoyed it. Cheers Bob for the company, you were on fire today! Great shooting... Surely Justin is getting bored with all this winning malarky???

Thank you Hawkies for a great course, sorry I missed the first round but hope to be there for the rounds.

Your efforts in putting out a tricky course is very much appreciated, keep it going.

Great to see a couple of new shooters giving it a go.

    See you all next week.

Don't listen to me. Wind going one way, pellet going the other. Trees growing an inch between pulling the triger and the pellet getting to the plate or rather missing the plate so much for me theories.

Still a very enjoyable morning. Thanks to all involved.
