A little bird tells me that there will be 3 Giffard pistols at Kempton in March. One of which is an 8mm Beauty that I have seen, handled and wept over...

    Who'd be married eh!

I would also have to go for the Giffard if judging on pure elegance alone, but as I like to shoot my pistols regularly ease of use must come into the equation so the ABAS Major represents the perfect compromise. Being a concentric design means the pistol is compact with very clean lines including the cocking lever which sits neatly under the cylinder.

This pistol is also one of the very few to have a tap loading system which further adds to its appeal and provides an excellent airtight seal.

    Regards
    Brian

I had a chance to hold one of these last year at a gun show almost as new condition. Very well made pistol and the tap loading over the top. But could not get excited as to the form of a large cylinder with a grip. Maybe it was the high price that affected my potential bonding? Lol

    Walther LP Mod 3

Walther LP Mod 3 is also a contender in my opinion.
