Yes the older Dan Wessons (with push forward S&W style cylinder release) are rubbish, the new 715's are actually a very close copy of the genuine article and seem very nicely made.

The nickel finish is actually really nice and consistent on the examples I have seen, the 'black' is not actually black but is quite attractive.

The trigger pull on the 715's is much better than on the older models and they are pretty decent accuracy wise in the pellet versions.
