Just tried with Chrony. 360fps average with three 8.18 g pellets which I calculate to 2.35ftlbs Very happy with that for a 1935 brass airgun :-)

The 360fps was measured but I need to double check the grain of the pellets. 3 pumps is the max I give it.

owners manual recommends 6 as a max i'll dig mine out and see what it does on 3 and at 6 -or what ever pumps it takes before valve retains air as I think the spring may have softened over the years

Impressive indeed, both the fine restoration and performance.

Just curious, do you pump it "by hand" or by pressing the pump rod onto a hard surface?

I pump three times only - by pressing it against the carpeted floor. I think heavy pumping may have been part of why the joints failed.
Its vintage and I plan to use it but with TLC :-)

Checked re my last post and I was using Anglo Arms dome head that are 8.02grains when I chronied at 360 fps. So 2.31 ftlbs on 3 pumps. I'm happy with that.
Chasing a 122 to go with the 177.
