    Seen that, wasn't it a none working Sr originally for £200 ?

    Yes, I was interested in it at £200. When I had a chat to him he said he had been told it wasn't worth much so was going to take less than £150 for it. I told him the stock was probably worth that because it was a left handed SR. I think after that he sent the serial number to air arms to get confirmation of what it was.

    I wasn't interested because he said it was a .22. However it turned out to be a .177 which is what I really wanted. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything

    'Orrible little chancer, just trying his luck

    If it came to air gun licencing and I had no chance of getting one, I'd rather throw all of mine in a lake than sell to someone like that or hand them in to the police.

    How about handing them to existing airgun clubs? Maybe they could use them as club guns for people without a license to rent for a nominal fee etc

    How many 2nd hand do you need to buy and sell before its considered a trade and need to register as an RFD.

    Perhaps your local FEO might want to investigate
