It has just struck me the timing of this fair exactly matches the old Bisley Classic, which was always held on the last Sunday in March, when the clocks go forward. It all seems a long time ago now.

    Just 3.5 days to go!

Will all BBS forum members be wearing a pink carnation or something similar so as to be instantly recognisable to others of the clan?
Seriously though, this will be my first time at Kempton, and it would be nice to be able to say hello to any other attending forum members.
I'm on the look out for an early BSA underlever rifle to extend my modest collection, so if anything suitable might present itself, some honest advice from one of the sages of the Gentlemen's Corner would be greatly appreciated onsite.
    Best regards, Clogger

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Hi Clogger,

I'll be hovering around and would be more than happy to help you with any questions regarding early BSAs. I'll be wearing a blue Kempton Park Fair polo shirt and will have camera in hand.

Lakey usually attends too and is always very helpful and approachable.

    See you there.

All I will say is the last gun I bought from you at Kempton was and remains in immaculate condition, so I'm sure the BSA is fine
