    Sending for a gun

    Over in the USA what's the legal requirements to buy a air rifle from over in the USA and have it sent to your door Would there be import duty? and export duty? or is this a big no no ??? also would the shipping cost be silly?

    dont think it can go to your door. have to go to your rfd;it would be cheaper to buy here.

    Thanks for the reply I have just read the article in the AGW about these https://www.umarexusa.com/collection...marex-gauntlet and as they not available here yet? thought about getting my own sent

    Yes, you can have it sent to your door (UK law only affects UK RFDs).

    Yes, you will have to pay VAT on import at 20%, plus handling fee.

    Yes, shipping costs - if you can find a US supplier who will even ship to the UK - will be expensive.

    Don't forget the cost for your RFD to de-tune it to Sub 12 as these american rifles are waaaay over the UK power limits
