Had fun with mine too! Eventually found this on bbs and also a tip to only turn ⅛ of a turn at a time. Now very happy.

Turn screw clockwise for heavier second stage, however if the adjustment has been reset incorrectly this may not be the case, at this point you have to get back to a base setting which does seem to confuse most people.
It may also need some work other than adjustment as it could be as much as 15 years old.

Its around March 1987 I think.

Hi Geoff, yes mine has a single Allen screw in the front of the trigger and a push forward to release safety catch inside the trigger guard. Airgun forum confirms landymicks date of 1987. Enjoy! David

Right then i will start with clockwise rotation of said hex bolt and will go canny as they say. Mine is the version with the pull down safety in front of the trigger guard. Same as the one on the John Walters Airgun book vol 4. BTW the serial number is hand scratched in, is yours?

agreed, defo not Evo, but the countryman has the safety inside the guard - well mine does. This is the pull down / outside the guard safety. Also the omega trigger is the type fitted to the SLR88 - different again!

So forgive the lucite, but am I looking for a Webley Omega, a Theoben Countryman or an SLR88 trigger adjustment plan?
