Registered firearms dealer. Means licenced to trade in fire arms and associated products.
In a battle of wits I refuse to engage with an unarmed person.

An RFD is a: Registered Firearms Dealer : a person allowed by law to deal in firearms and ammunition by means of trade.

If you want to deal in firearms and ammunition by way of trade or business, you must be registered as a firearms dealer, or RFD for short. It is a criminal offence to carry on a business as a firearms dealer without being registered, so this is the first vital step.

    Hope this helps.

bonjour le terme rdf, comme d'autres l'ont dit, signifie essentiellement quelqu'un qui est autorisé par la loi à commercer et à vendre des armes à feu et des munitions, la plupart des magasins sont réglementés, mais il y a quelques produits

Whenever I hear ‘RFD’ I think of the liferafts on boats/ships/offshore installations - RFD being one the better known manufacturers. During a survival course, one of us was asked what does RFD stand for? without a pause and completely straight-faced the answer given was “rubber f’ing dinghy”.
