Is a Walther Classus a Walther Sinus without the daft name?

I had a look at a Classus at the NEC on Friday. I quite liked the lightweight feel of it then I noticed you can pick one up for less than £200 new so I have just ordered one. Every time I search for information I uncover, haven't actually tried a Classus but have got a BSA etc etc this is then followed by an irrelevant write up of a completely different gun. Even the Umarex brochure contradicts its barrel length and weight.

Looks to my untrained eye like a decent rifle at a Chinese price.

I was interested in the Classes, but the it looks to be a Terrus in another stock.

Says Lothar Walther barrel which I can't see listed for the Terrus.

I would say its the same as the Terrus, the action is the same size & the trigger is the same.I've not been inside the Classus to check but apart from the stock all I can see is a slightly different cocking link.

Oh yeah, they also stress that it has a LGV cocking rod. I assume the Terrus doesn't have an LGV cocking rod?

Seems odd that a company can release a product then virtually supress any information on it. I think I have seen 3 different weights quoted, 2 different barrel lengths and we are all left wondering if it is a Terrus in disguise. When AGW reviewed it Feb 17 it hadn't been released and there wasn't much detail.

It wasn't until I stumbled across one that it got my attention. Now think it is the bargain of the century, pun intended.

Beginning to think its a collectors item before it's arrived. Found a few YouTube Vids but most seem to be in what I am guessing is German. Still think it is an excellent gun at a bargain price despite only seeing one for a couple of minutes on Friday.
