    Paratrooper Query

I finally got an ASI/Gamo Paratrooper for my small collection. Maybe not the most exciting rifle but I've always liked them.

The first model, I have two grips for and one is self coloured brown plastic and the other is the same but painted a darker brown. So my question please is how were they supplied originally?

    Steve.

I had an in-between one, with the de-spurred trigger guard of the bottom one, but the exposed metal stock and pistol-style plastic furniture of the top one.

I'm pretty sure (this was something like 35 years ago) that the grip (one piece, IIRC) was dark brown painted plastic.

Thanks Frakor & Geezer. Most helpful. I've managed to get some spray paint that looks like a good match so that's a job for the warmer weather.

I have a repeater like Geezer, mk1 furniture, but with the de-spurred metal fore end. Great fun.
