"But we have our own dream and our own task. We are with Europe, but not of it. We are linked, but not comprised. We are interested and associated, but not absorbed."
Winston Churchill 1930
Errr, that'll be because its too expensive for the condition, do keep up - tatty stuff will never command mint prices
The point I was making was what it will cost you to get a decent one and even tatty ones are not cheap when you consider what it would cost you to restore one.
Sorry for my lack of replies
Thank you all for your time and input
Some interesting reading here
I will get her up for sale hopefully over the weekend and see were we get with it
Many thanks again All
The second hand market seems to of gone quiet at the moment -12 months ago I put one of my ar7 jackals up for sale at 350 and it sold on the same day I advertised it and at the asking price of 350, had multiple people calling me asking if it was available etc but was sold to first person that said they'd have it. So to the right collector yes they can command high prices. I've seen the. 177 parabellum version's sell for as high as 450 but I think that's only because the. 177 models are rarer. I've just decided to sell my remaining Sussex armoury collection and put my other ar7 up for sale at 300 -gun is same condition as the one i sold last year but so far not had much interest. ATB Doug
