Used these lubes in the 80's I think the ms1 was a general lubricant ms2 was more heavy duty for the piston and Spring....
I remember airgun world tested the main lube makers at the time and Robbs came out one of the best.

Hello again. Still assembling from box of bits and found two bottles of lube marked MS 1 and MS2
also says mix thoroughly. One seems molygrease the other liquid.
Any advice on their use? Thanks for looking.

The M2 keeps my 30 year old hatchback struts in good order!
Time tested lubes, perhaps the best
The MS2 is high pressure moly grease and very slippery, it's just the right grease to use for breech jaws
The MS1 is like sticky moly oil.
They are still on sale

It’s the MS3 spring damper that I use on the car struts.
Just found the bottle.
When the hatchback starts to play up a drop on each strut is magic.
I don’t know what’s it’s like in a rifle !
Thank again all. It's just the "mix well" that bugs me. What ratio? All of both seems right for a kit/pack methinks.
