    Original Model 75.

    Sorry - duplicated post.

Having made the mistake of failing to recall that my memory is fading rapidly I suppose at least it may attract the attention of fellow supporters of the Giss rifles - and the Model 75 in particular.

This has to be one of the best recoilless spring powered match rifles ever made.

It is totally "dead" as far as recoil is concerned and has no external moving parts (unlike its biggest period rival the FWB 300S) that I know some find concerning.

Its predecessors include the break barrel Model 65 and Model 66 that many of us also rate highly and enjoy shooting too - mainly because it shares exactly the same twin-opposed piston operated (Giss) recoilless system.

Shooting spring powered classic match rifles is fun and the recoilless models are specialist variants that many of us enjoy the most.

I have been lucky enough to own and shoot several FWB recoilless types as well as the beautifully engineered Anschutz Model 380 but I have a special fondness for the Giss powered types that carry the Original, Diana or RWS badges.
