HW98 Luxus New edition to the HW range?

Seems HW are doing a 98 action in a walnut sporter stock. Anyone on here got one? Mach 1.5

On a quick search, finding mostly Dutch websites/fora (happily I can read Dutch pretty well), that appears to be an HW98 barrel in a 95 Luxus stock - that is, a conventional stock, not the semi-target 98 pattern. Is that right?

Looks interesting though. Albeit that I wonder what kind of premium HW will charge over the regular models.

Pity it won't have a screw-in back block.

Same trick as BSA, though hopefully the HW will still be functional.

That German retailer "Sportwaffen Schnauzer" have listed the 98 action / 95L stock model for some time - but a walnut stock as Paul alludes to, sounds altogether more interesting.

Very rare that HW lavish their springers with Walnut (not that I know much about them)

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Given the option I'd rather have a 95 with an adjustable comb

If they did make a "luxury shank of walnut" model, I bet it would be in the modern fist-hole style after the HW100.
