Most important is sight picture as the sights being 1mm off can make a difference of inches on the target. Don't let the foresight touch or be within the black as you won't be able to see whether it is level with the rear sight. Focus on the sights as they are much more important than the target.
Next most important is the trigger pull. If you get it wrong a 9 turns into a 5 very easily.
getting all 10 pellets on the card is quite good for a beginner and 10 in the scoring ring is good.
until you can shoot a tight group 4" or less don't worry about where they are on the card as unless you are shooting your own pistol you won't be able to adjust the sights to suit you.
Shooting on the blank white side of the card can give a smaller group than shooting at the side with the black dot and rings.
