Let's see if this works.

The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
Yup, that works. Thanks for taking the time!
I sent a PM but it seems to have vanished so will repeat here..
I used milliput on mine and I highly recommend as its very easy to work with - rolls out like plasticine and smooths like wet clay. Drys rock hard.
(I'm sure I have posted inline images before but don't see the option so will have to use links, apologies for image quality)
Shaping done, primer applied:

I've ordered some Plastikote satin black and grey stone touch, hopefully the black will cover the grey without losing too much detail. Not used Plastikote before.
I reckon that might give me extra grip on the contact areas. And look pretty...

Like this but in .22/5.5mm ....

Its for shooting slow-fire matches. Or actual matches like Swan Vesta if you are good enough.
Hi Mark, as far as I know there is no specific competition for .22 match air-pistol. That is curious thing about the Aeron pistol. I can only think that it was made to allow shooting .22 rimfire slow-fire disciplines on the same targets with the same projectile hole, but with an air-pistol.
Or it may have been designed for air-pistol 'silhouette' in countries in which there is no limit for air-pistol power. I do not know the 'full power' power of the Aeron, maybe it is 8 or 9 fpe, in which case it would still be relatively flat shooting, but with a heavier impact than a .177 at longer ranges, which would help knock the silhouettes down.
Maybe since the CP1 pistol is available in .22 there is room for a new target discipline for .22 only?
Perhaps slow-fire at PL15 targets outdoors? Silhouettes at 30 yards?
RMTC did once run a .22 cal. 6 yard MPL pistol postal comp', but Co2 pistols weren't allowed, obviously.
I've got a Tau 7 in .22, devilishly accurate up to 40 yards or so. Had a barrel shroud machined up by a mate and added a scope mount and BSA Edge pistol scope. Fantastic combination and velocity/power can be tuned. Great for longer range plinking and I'm guessing would be good for field target use too.
Cheers,
Mick
