    Hw97 short stroked

    After reaping the benefits of a short stroked tx200 mk3. I decided to do the same to my hw97 as it felt a poor relation to the tx. Used one of nicks 8mm extensions and shot it side by side with the tx today. Have to say it's made a big difference and definately closed the gap between the two. The extra preload has cancelled out the loss in swept volume in terms of power. both are in .177. Thumbs up for doing it if you are thinking About it, especially for .177.

    Is yours 26mm or 25mm?

    Mines 26mm, wouldn't think the 25mm would benefit?

    25mm is short stroked at the sides.
