I have, somewhere, the original B & W photo that was used in their adverts. It was taken with a fish eye (?) ;ens by someone who used to work for Granada studios. That explains a lot.
I only went there back in 1980 for them to work on my bsa airsporter mk1 and can remember the adverts in agw if you would of had the new guns in the adverts then now what a collection you’d have mike

usd to be a great shop in the day ( but didnt they all ) bought my first PC from there a " titan manitou" also a benjamin when they first started converting them for the UK limit !
IMO the days of that old school service in gun shops has long since passed
Me Mam used to always say " not all changes are for the better " and she was right
Who actually owns and runs MAG nowadays ?
Many years ago I received excellent service from Alan Hamer, but I haven't had occasion to contact them recently.
I've been in there a few times for bits and pieces and always found them helpful. And yes, it's an Aladdin's cave.
Well I did go as planned.
Fair amount of stock, not very much second hand, think it was 3 rifles.
Nice display of rifles in the glass case round the side.
Cant say it was a particularly friendly atmosphere.
Prices on the new stock, much more expensive than local RFD.
Overall glad I went, as it was something I remembered from my youth.
