The pistol grip looks very much like a Crosman 1300 medallist to me. Quite fragile, the one I have on mine is cracked split and broken.

Someone has cut a square out of this one where the rear screw is covered by it, I presume it's to be able to remove the screw without the need to remove the grips!!

I have just noticed Baz suggested that the grips are for a Crosman 150 so I hit the web to check it out. It looks like the 150 and 1300 have the same trigger frame and grips so could probably fit either?

As for the detached BSA barrel. Weren't there reports some years ago about BSA Meteor barrels "unbrazing" themselves on occasion?
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

Yes, I do recall hearing of this. No idea if it was true or an urban myth?

The barrel looks short, maybe someone heard about shortening barrels at the breech end and had a go?

Interesting finding. I saw something similar at my friend's house in Greece, his father bought that gun a long time ago (he couldn't remember where), there were some parts missing though, I am not sure if it's of any value, but it is beautiful just for a collection.
