Have had both guns and the only thing the r10 wins by is shot count ,and that’s only if the reg is working as it should ! it just feels inferior from the mag loading and cocking action to the metalwork finish which marks up really easy . Although I’ve just sold my hw100 I think they are the best bang for bucks out there.

I've got both and they do the same job. R10 wins on looks though. HW wins on magazine loading although it's no big deal on the R10.
It's like buying a car, nice car but what colour ?

    HW all day

HW every time. R10 pellet fussy. HW easy to fit power Adjuster. R10 heavy. Mags on HW don't jam.

HW 100k best mag , best cocking , best loading , best silencer , better made , hardly any hammer noise , nice balance .
I have both guns and my R10 has been tuned by ratworks HW100 out of the box

    On my own over here?!

The HW100 is a fantastic rifle, no doubt about it, I've used a few variants and they all do the job, no fuss, solid, but.......it just feels so industrial, its chunky, it has no character, its very German!

The R10 may have it's issues, but it's a thing of beauty!!

Nobody has mentioned price? The HW100, depending on the model (correct me if I'm wrong) is £800-900 new?? My R10SE, in it's gorgeous laminate stock was £670, brand spanking new.

Sorry Weihrauch fan boys, it's an R10 for me!!

Don't own either, did try an HW100 a while ago, it was accurate but didn't do it for me, the only Beezer I liked was a Scorpion in .177 that would be the one I might have gone for, but as I really only shoot AirArms pcps I'm probably not the best one to judge on which one is the better option, but I will say the HW100 is a fine piece of engineering, and that would have to be my choice. Without doubt the r10 is a looker and shoulders lovely, but that’s where it ends imo, first hand knowledge !!
The HW KS is my choice, sweet trigger units, trouble free side lever indexing, can’t double load, simplistic 14 shot mags, very very quiet, bomb proof rifle.
My only criticism is they have recently changed the stock and i much preferred the old version.
What we need is the hw action in the r10 stock
    Hope this helps lol

i have both , in fact I have had 3 HW100's , all of them spent time at Hull Cartridge because they leaked overnight .
I have a 110 at the moment which people have moaned about losing power ,and the cocking lever breaking.
The power did drop on mine but I cleaned the barrel and , back to normal again.
The R10 SE is different in character than the HW 's , if you don't know what i mean no explanation is possible
if you know what i mean , no explanation is needed.

    Peace through superior fire power!
