Pig in a poke Pt2 The internals. Information please.

Having repaired the barrel latch, cocking lever, and trigger unit the rifle operates around 7.5 ft.lb. but cocking sounds like a demented bird scarer.
The spring diameter seems wrong at 20.5 mm Titan lists the No 7 which I think is 19.75 mm so promising.
Would be good to know the spring spec. others have. Thanks for looking.

I have disassembled my 1962 HW55T to take the measurements for you.
Spring has o.d. 19,8, inside 14 and it has 28 coils.
Diameter of the guide is 13,5.
If you get the same problems with a correct spring fitted, you cocking arm is bent.

Egged on by support form Jim and Frakor I opened up Serial 417827 '71-'72 to find an ugly leather seal some of which attached itself to the comp. cylinder end.
Large lost volume filled with decomposed tacky grease found on everything.
Piston has aluminium insert as Jim's but no leather washer in the dead space shown by Frakor.
Curious to know if the seal locating/fixing is correct and why spring chamber length is reduced, compared to Serial 80639 '60, yet has no "F" rating.
