    Been Offered a deal!

    hiya all! I'm really new to air guns and my cousin has offered me a AA s510 carbine with
    decent hawk scope
    bipod
    3 mags
    gun bag
    silencer
    3l bottle for £500 is this a good deal? its all been serviced and in good working order and its only 5 months old out the factory!

    Welcome to the forum.
    Is the gun a 0.177" or 0.22"?
    The 0.177" is probably more popular so potentially more valuable.
    What stock does it have - Walnut, etc?
    Hawke produce a large range of scopes in a large range of prices so this will also affect the value of the package.
    Bipods can be £20.00 or in excess of £200.00 depending upon whether it is a cheap Chinese copy or a genuine Harris or other premium brand.
    One or two mags come with the gun anyway as does the silencer/moderator.
    A cheap gun slip can be bought for £20.00 but again far more expensive ones are available.
    The 3 litre scuba cylinder I assume is surface use only, with the appropriate fill valve?
    If so it has a 5 year life between hydrostatic tests. When is the next test due - was it new with the purchase of the gun 5 months ago?
    Why has the gun been serviced if it is only 5 months old?
    All of the above make a difference but subject to there being no problems with those items it seems like a reasonable deal to me - they are a desirable gun!

    If its 5 months old and shoots well for £500 buy it. That is a very good price for that package.
    You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

    It's a decent deal, go buy it.

    The Scopes go from £50 to £500, even a cheap one will still be a reasonable buy, something further up the range and it's a bargain.
