    Bottle tests...

...OK so I have a carbon fibre 7lt 300 bar bottle that's +5 years out of date, can it be re-tested? If not then can the charge gear (Din valve, gauge, whip, etc) be transferred to a new bottle?

    many thanks,

Yes an out of date bottle can be tested, but carbon bottles have a fixed life after which they are destroyed, end of story, 15 or 20 years I think.
afaik they still need the 30/60 month tests but I'm not certain either way.

Yes the valve can be transferred if it's a surface valve (gauge & bleed built in) but if it's a dive valve with a separate airgun charging adaptor then probably not worth the effort.
