I think Protek bought Bill Welch's classic Walther stock when he passed, so they will have a good collection of the classic Walther parts.

[QUOTE=nige346;7468302]I was hoping you'd finally give up and I could take it off yer hands It was good to meet you Sunday and pleased you've got it sorted, they're a great pistol, Protek have suprised me in the past with what they seem to have within there store, If you ever fancy shooting somewhere different you'd be more than welcome to pop into Bexley one Thursday evening for a cuppa and some time on the range,

I personally find it is quite difficult to fill a cylinder to near the limit. Enjoy your pistol
That what I like with Kempton it’s a chance to have a good old face to face chat.

I agree that part has been messed about with. interestingly the cylinder that came with the pistol was very stiff to screw on when it was nearly full and I had to use the hand grip thingy. I bought a second cylinder some time ago and having resealed it, it’s much easier to screw on and I can do it by hand. I wonder if the first cylinder had caused the threads to strip at some point?

    Hi Robin

    Think your right.

Lesson I learnt is that it’s always worth giving them a call for Old Walther parts as not everything is listed on their web site.
