    BTAS HW100 Owners...few questions

    Hi all,

I know there aren’t many, but I just picked up a stunning btas hw100 and have a few quick q’s if someone could be so kind as to assist?

    1) what’s the recommended fill pressure of the fx cylinder?
    2) can you remove the fx cylinder without emptying of air? I.e like you can with the hw original.
    3) if you do empty the fx cylinder of air does it mess the reg up or can you just refill and away you go?

I’m familiar with the hw side of it, but not had a btas one before.

    Any help appeciated.

    Kind Regards,
    Rhys

I am sure the recommended fill pressure is 220 bar and no you can’t remove it without the emptying of air. Furthermore if you do undo it, I never have but it did work loose, it blows the seal the tube screws into. I found getting replacements a right game. Wonderful guns though.

    Thank you for your reply.

If anyone can answer point 3 I’d be grateful.

    Kind Regards,

If the reg is in the cylinder, it will be set up the same as the AA rifles, I have emptied and refilled mine without doing owt special, and without problems a few times.

Ben said to fill mine to 200 bar, so does each rifle have a different limit ?

Don’t know about that but my cylinder says it’s tested to 300 bar but I’m sure the recommended fill pressure is 220. 200 or 220 wouldn’t make any difference in my opinion but if Ben told you 200 then 200 it is

They do, but they also do the same reg conversion on AA rifles (used to)
