    Diana 48/52 barrel OD

I'm looking for some advice on the Diana 48/52 T01.

Is it a straight forward affair to remove the barrel shroud/sleeve from a D52 ?

Thanks in advance for any info given.

The front sight holds it on, I think that the barrel is 16mm and this is what the barrel looks like

    Thumbs up

Probably just the picture Barry, that barrel does look like copper or is that 9ct rose gold. lol

If snow stops play tomorrow and I can't possible get to work ; )

Ill have a go at removing the shroud, the trouble is that it has a Venom mod stuck on the end of it, I do hope it's not attached to the barrel in some way.

Some heat will release the bonding agent so the silencer can be removed.
Some barrels are blued under the shroud, others aren't.

    My 54 wasn't blued.
TBH it was a bit of a disappointment when I got the front sight off, to see the straw-thin, unblued barrel.

Diana 54 one of the rifles that are thin on the ground secondhand, talking of which, how thin was the barrel ?

What are your thoughts on the 54 ?

    I know Mick T20 has one but it's a bit like 1939-45 don't mention the 54 : O

My notes from when I had a moderator made for it say the inner barrel is 14.95mm wide.

I've not had the opportunity to shoot it a great deal, testing was cut short because the scope needs shimming.
But from the shooting I did do, it's totally dead to fire and very accurate. Cocking is a little bit of a faff.
