    Yes it was.....and made less than 5 mlles from me!

    Where was that then? I thought they looked great and would have been round for a look-see if I'd known they were local!

    They were made in Medway.....Kent by T Mortimer....not very large scale production. He also made the Slipstream pellet....a reinvented cat slug

    Weren't they black? I remember the adverts/reviews for the air shotguns well. They did a three way comparison in one edition iirc. It was claimed it was good for game at "normal airgun ranges", a claim I now doubt, but given the infestation of rats around the hatching sheds where I was working in Marden, I kept thinking how awesome it would be!

    I had a fox. Bought it mid 90's for coppers. Came in the wooden box with all the accessories. Spoilt slightly by some dim wit having shot the box.
    Very unique but a bit gimmicky.
    I also had the safari. Quite a useful little rifle.
    Always hankered after the Herald myself. Had my hands on one around 92-93 but just couldn't justify paying what the owner wanted for it.

    Stupid legistlation that ruined some very good guns
