12-18'' of the leg of an old pair of jeans, sown with a double seam at one end, filled with play-pit sand until you get the desired height/consistency, then seamed at the other end.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a decent sandbag front rest for rifle shooting at the local Airgun club..?
Also where to buy? 😁
Many thanks,
Matt

or the BSA one again from the forum sponsor http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products...elf-fill).html
I have the BSA one above, does all I need for non competition shooting.
Thanks everyone.. I’ll take a peak 👍
I have the guntuff ones, sand escapes constantly from all the seams, I'm almost afraid to use it for fear of sand getting in the gun, there's a sandy patch where the bag is stored at home and there's a sandy patch in the car from transporting it. I've refilled the rear bag with a mixture of plastic pony beads and loom bands (crap I had floating around at home), works ok, but I didn't have enough beads to fill the front one as well. If you buy this type of bag I'd recommend something a bit bigger than sand to fill it, maybe rice or lentils.
Fill with budget rice. You will need more than you think.

Plastic pellets that are used to make bottles is the best !
Injection moulding companies . When I was at Bausch and Lomb in Livingston I got some that had fallen from a burst sterile bag (we used them to make the moulds for the contact lenses ) I took them home and washed them and gave them to my cousin that made teddies for babies baby clothes as keepsakes .
You can buy them online for making soft toys . My cousin used to buy them from a craft supplier in England . commonly known as poly pellets.
