    Spit & polish...

    Hi all....
I'm soon going to take my 77 apart and give it the classic " spit, polish & re-lube tune & I wanted to ask you all if there was anything I need especially to do the job. I've never taken a Springer apart before & I'm not sure what lube/polishing equipment and what bits to do?
I'd have thought it would be kinda obvious when I got it apart but thought I'd ask first so I was prepared.
    Thanks
    Rhys

To degrease I like engine/brake cleaner though you can use petrol. Small files, wet and dry paper, a cordless drill (for spinning the piston) rags and metal polish.
