    Morini

    Any thoughts on the above?

Thinking about having a go at 10m pistol and have heard the 162ei is supposed to be superb.

Just wondered what other people's thoughts and experiences were?

    Hi Matt

I’ve got one... superb gun, but be aware that the slant of the grip is not adjustable due to the trigger electronics being in the grip. I’ve found that when I shoot well I shoot really well with it, but the opposite is also true. However that probably true for all good air pistols.

I’d recommend trying a Walther and Steyr as well as the Morini, before you decide.

I'd heard there were issues with spares for the morini, I sent they also do a non electronic version as well.

The worst thing about the Morini is that if you miss - it ain't the gun anymore

I have one. Yes they are very good.
But what we thing isnt of any value to you.
You should buy what suits YOU not us if yr really serious.
If you buy the wrong gun, one that doesnt fit/suit you (balance, weight wise etc) its really a waste of money
So try/feel all (Walther/FWB, Morini, Steyr etc) and thán make a choice

As above, They all shoot superbly, any preference is down to the shooter and what suits best, I shoot a 162ei and love it, but plenty will same the same for FWB, Walther, Steyr etc, All are capable of shooting 10's and placing pellet on pellet, They are all different weights and balance and handle differently, The is no problem with Morini Spares although the only thing your ever likely to need is an O ring set, mines years old and only ever required a loading probe O ring, cost pennies and took minutes to fit. Find yourself a local club and try a few out, most members will happily let a fellow club shooter try a pistol, The one that feels right, is easiest to shoot and hold steady is the one to buy, use that as your guide to a purchase and not the brand.
