    BSF S20 information.

Does anyone have any information on how to strip down a BSF S20 air pistol?
Are there any dealer contacts for spare parts that may be needed for replacement?
Also I have no idea how old it is, so any info on age based on the serial number would be useful.
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Regards

There are 3 basic variants that I am aware of - Standard S20 that has a fixed rear sight and a 'sporter' style grip.
S20 Match that has sporter grip and a adjustable rear sight. S20 Match Export that has the adjustable rear sight and a target style grip with a flared grip with a thumb rest.

They can be tricky to strip, so unless it does not work I would take the action out of the grip and grease and oil the spring. You could also stand the action on it's end and pour some neats foot oil down the barrel and leave it to soak into the leather washer for a few days. Some models had a 'oil' hole on the chamber.

    Some good info here:http://www.muzzle.de/N3/Druckluft/BSF_S_20/bsf_s_20.

There is a stripdown guide in the Idiots guide sticky at the top of the page. There is a stripdown with pictures on the anotherairgunblog website. I find them a very crude pistol and a bit of a swine to strip and get back together. Pins on Bsf's seem to be cropped off and can be hard to shift.
I think they are a very over rated pistol.

    BSF S20 stripdown

Thanks for the info and sticky reference. Not the simplest of pistols to strip! As it is in good working order I will leave it as is, would not want to lose or damage a part.
