easy way is to take bottle adaptor of the gun and then screw that onto bottle.just steady until you get a slow purge of air then screw on more as air flow slows down.you will never push a valve in by hand on a full pressure bottle.

Yes thanks for that info, I did have a bottle adapter here but I've either give it with a load of parts I give with the other guns I sold or I've put it somewhere, One of my other buddy bottles is leaking but its a different type and that will empty over time if I need to change it, That one may even be serviceable but not sure what one it is apart from it being a white plastic valve and the bottle neck has cut outs on side so a spanner will fit it to undo,
that one sounds like a Dr bob or best fittings valve.if so these have a very small internal oring on the delrin valve that can be changed.

Ok thanks very much for that , when the time comes I will get some pics to try and confirm which one unless they use the same size o ring, What would be the procedure with changing one of these o rings or are there any online videos which show you how to replace the seal, Thanks again your your help,
once bottle valve is out you can unscrew fiting from the rear.oring sizes can differ.best to get it matched up at an oring supplier.or contact Dr bob as it could well be one of is.failing that best fitings may help.i have them but may not be your size.you never know it could just be a delrin pip with no oting and may be scratched.
