    Bonehill Britannia Rear sight

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a Britannia Rear sight? Mine is missing it and by the looks of things its one of the early sights (looks like a seesaw).

Again a long shot I know. These rifles are impossible to get parts for. There was one at auction a month ago that I was trying to get that I could rob the sight off (the gun in question was missing its stock) but it went for almost the price I paid for mine!

    Cheers

    Jake

Hi Jake, join the queue. there are quite a few collectors who are after the rear seesaw sight, but to find one is like winning the lottery. but you never know good luck.

Well compared to the Webley Service peep sights, the seesaw would be a walk in the park to Paul O'Donnell at our fair. As soon as you muster enough takers to make it worth while, I will pass it on

I just need the main adjuster screw - the one with a "two tier" knurled head.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

And how many takers would you say it is worth while?

    Cheers,

There are quite a few Brits with missing rearsights around.

Making a few would be a great contribution to our airgun heritage.

After all there are plenty of Wobblies around but only around 160 Brits as I recall.
